There’s a good chance now that if you’re looking for a recent major court judgment it can be found on a web site.

European Court of Justice judgments are now available as far back as June 1997
Recent ECJ Case Law - for direct access to recent judgments.
European Court of Human Rights judgments are available dating as far back as Oct 1996 - the web site can be very slow however.
European Commission - information on the Commission on Human Rights and its work in the past.
House of Lords - since November of 1996 all judgments have been placed on the Internet within two hours of being handed down - My Lord!
Court of Appeal- to view recent cases from the Court of Appeal Civil and Criminal Division (England and Wales)
Court of Appeal for NI - some recent decisions are now available as part of a pilot service to provide free access to legal materials by the British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) High Court for NI - some recent decisions are now available as part of a pilot service to provide free access to legal materials (BAILII). 1999 judgements onwards.
High Court- this site from the Court service contains some High Court decisions from England and Wales.
